The Eddy Merckx brand has a long and proven history in cycling, and this legacy is firmly reinforced with the 525 models. The 525 name celebrates the total amount of victories of the Belgian cannibal Eddy Merckx.

According to Eddy Merckx, the 525 represents the perfect balance between top tier racing performance and a high level of comfort through the strategic layering of carbon. The result is a racing machine that is stiff, lightweight, offers optimal power transfer, and also provides a high level of comfort.

The 525 has a distinctive look with its zigzag down seat stays and the oversized downtube and therefore looks unlike anything else in the peloton.
The bike is directly aimed at the cyclist who pins a race number on their back. Oliver Naesen used the 525 to reach both the second place in Milano San Remo and the third place in Gent-Wevelgem in the 2019 season.
